You really nailed how so many of us feel about our work in this industry! The way most people view writers is hilarious when it isn’t vastly irritating — if all I wanted to do was brood and drink, I’d go back to college. Instead I get to write all day and, y’know, actually ENJOY my income…even when it comes from writing 2k words about the merits of various types of cookware.
