Uh…where are they getting the 33% thing? From other men? Because I’ve been privy to plenty of conversations where a man will accuse a woman (or multiple women) of this when it seems pretty obvious she just didn’t have a good time and so wasn’t interested in date #2.
I wonder what their response would be if they realized these same women go on to find good dates that then turn into successful relationships before long?
Not to say some people don’t try to use others, but in my single days I met plenty of freeloader dude types as well as the woman version (being bi, one gets an interesting cross section of the dating scene, lol!). It’s shameful behavior but somewhat unavoidable. It was also quite rare despite me living in a college town and having a decent amount of wealth which might have attracted these types. My philosophy was pretty much, “ok well, if I DO meet someone so broke they’re using dating apps to get free food…I’m fine with feeding her!” 😂
And I wouldn’t want to be or date someone who’s so suspicious of the opposite gender that they act rude from the get go!
