Traits such as malleability, deference, naivety, and a less developed instinct for self-protection/respect are associated with femininity as idealized in our current male-dominated world.
Traits such as a strong will, cunning, sharp instincts, and a prevalent work ethic are not only roped into the “masculine” realm, but most men will say that women with these qualities are too difficult to be with. That’s their general excuse.
Just say you’re lazy and not interested in self-development, dude.
In what universe would a weak willed, naive, unconfident, and less experienced mate be MORE desirable than a strong and savvy one? Reproductively speaking, young females are more of a liability because their offspring would be less likely to survive past infancy.
Common sense says that the biology excuse doesn’t hold much water. We’re fertile until we are well into our thirties, and offspring would be far more likely to thrive with a mother who has earned her chops and is more of an alpha female.
When men try to go for really young women and teenaged children, they are essentially demonstrating their OWN lack of viability as a member of our species. Either they are not suitable for the females at the top-tier of the hierarchy and are rejected by these women, or they themselves have a faulty radar that lowers their chances of reproductive success.
Either way, biologically they are in some way defective, by their own rationale of “Alpha males are wired to choose the best choice of mate.” Excuses and societal norms can’t change that basic principle.
