This made me reflect on the wonderful relationship I have with my husband -- so thank you for that little reminder!

I'd also add my own anecdotal observation. The freedom to "be stupid" with your partner is really important. I can be clumsy, oblivious, silly, messy, or whatever else with my partner, and we have so many inside jokes and so much laughter between us because of it.

If you can't be a fool with your partner, then you're a fool for being with them!
