Only something as emotionally warped as the patriarchy could label this ball of complexes an "emotionally intelligent man." People (mostly men) think he is emotionally intelligent because his emotions are stunted and underdeveloped. In the patriarchal mind, emotion is the opposite of intelligence...so he must be a genius! What he really is, like so many men in our society, is a man who never learned about personal accountability, vulnerability, or functional life skills.
