There are as many tropes about imperfection (i.e. failure, wrong-ness, or un-rightness) as there are craters on the moon. There are sayings, platitudes, motivational speeches, motivational posters, cultural flashpoints, songs, comics…

You get the point.

Clearly, humanity has been feeling some type of way about this––now more than ever. Personally, I think we might have forgotten the difference between being flawed and being well, imperfect. Chaotically, incredibly, completely human. Aren’t these two states synonyms, at the end of the day?

In a nutshell, we have forgotten how to be happy with being truly, realistically imperfect. It’s time to jog our memory.
