I'm not a mom, and honestly I've always been terrified of the idea of becoming one. But I'm starting to want that, now, and my partner does too, and I just wanted to say that this article gave me a profound sense of peace I hadn't known I needed.

For years now I've been typing little fairytales for no ostensible reason (it's not what I write professionally...at all). I wrote them for fun and practice and simply because they were in my head and I wanted to put them on paper. Now, I have this image of me sharing them and writing them for a kid one day, and it made me realize that I can be a GREAT mom in my own way. Same way I can be a great writer, on my own terms.

So thank you for this, and for your vulnerability. I and many others really appreciate it.
