I think it's hard for us advice-writers to remember that, well, not everyone is like us. Some people CAN'T edit while writing because they aren't wired that way, while others have to edit as they go for the same reason.

Too many of us try to force ourselves into being "like the successful writers" we read about or hear from online. Sometimes you just can't write every single day, or edit before the draft is done, or whatever it is people are saying is THE way to write.

I'm glad to see more and more perspectives being shared harmoniously so that we can all find what works best for us!
