Holy false equivalence, Batman!

In my view, This piece really sets the bar low - attractiveness isn’t even a factor you should consider as related to a man treating you like crap vs. treating you like a partner. Effort? Stability? Acts of love and romantic gestures? Non negotiable. Attraction shouldn’t be negotiable, either, as it’ll set you up for mediocrity at best. “Unattractive” dudes are in many women’s experience as likely to be arseholes as “hot” ones. Alas, dickheadery has no specific look.

You should hold out for someone you’re attracted to who ALSO TREATS YOU WELL. Why does this piece make it sound as though you have to “sacrifice” attraction for decency?
