Anything that does not benefit them, subpar men will seek to justify by any means they can think of. No matter how preposterous their mental gymnastics clearly are to the rest of us, they’ll refuse to see it. They’ll likely go to their graves bemoaning the cruelty of a world that wouldn’t embrace THEIR incredibly low SELF standards as the acceptable norm.
