AI is a reflection of our societies, and unfortunately it seems to be reflecting the more negative aspects at a higher rate than our positive ones. I'm hoping that changes -- but right now, we're seeing these tools be utilized for the sake of our worst social sins.

Misogyny, xenophobia, ragebait, unethical profit generation through stolen work/dishonesty...AI is reflecting our pain and anger rather than our determination and ideals. This trend of deepfake nudes -- especially among minors in school -- is one of the more alarming examples I've read about. I remember the huge scandal that overtook my middle school when boys started sharing and selling girls' nude pictures among one another. It was a nightmare for those girls, and it left a mark on our entire class. I can't imagine the fallout there would have been if those boys had had access to AI tools like this, not to mention content sites like OnlyFans.
