A lot of other people with ADHD have chimed in, but I’m actually very on board with what you’re saying - I think you may have taken on too accusatory a tone for it to get through to everyone, though.

Just to share my own experience as a person with ADHD who is learning to be clean: it’s as much a process of re-learning how to “look” and see things as it is organization. My husband has OCD, so in this way we are opposites. It’s ended up being really helpful, oddly enough. I’m able to get the big picture things done when he is too stressed by details to do them, and he’s patient and has taught me to actually, consciously pause and look for the inevitable fingerprints on cabinet handles, spatters on the floor, and occasional “hair tumbleweeds” that form in the bathrooms.

If you have ADHD, I think the big central lesson here is that you NEED a teammate. We have lots of strengths, but…ADHD is, after all, a disorder. Get creative about it and you never know what might work!
